Waiting Room
Our large waiting room is large and light filled, providing a relaxing atmosphere for our clients and their pets. |
We stock a range of pet foods and products such as leads, collars and treats for your loved ones. |
 |
Consult Rooms
Our 3 consult rooms contain everything we need to conduct a thorough clinical examination. Each room has an x-ray viewer and is linked to a computer system for digital images and accurate record keeping. They also contain plenty of treats!
Our cat dedicated consult room contains a pheromone diffuser that helps cats to relax, and most importantly it is a no dog zone. It is well known that cats are far less stressed when there are no dog scents present. We do everything we can to make sure your pet's visit is as stress-free as possible. |
|
Preparation Area
This is the heart of our Veterinary Hospital and can get quite busy at times! This is where animals are anaesthetised prior to being moved into our surgery for an operation. Minor procedures such as blood testing is also performed here. |
 |
 |
This room is also where dental procedures are performed using our top-quality mobile air-driven dental equipment |
|
Sterile Surgery
Our specially designed surgical facility is fully self-contained with a positive pressure ventilation system to ensure top levels of hygiene and sterility. This is where all major surgical procedures are performed. It contains an x-ray viewer which is essential during our more involved orthopaedic cases. Pass-through cupboards ensure everything we need is within easy reach. |
 |
 |
Recovery Cages
One of the special features of our hospital is our recovery cages. Situated in our prep area they are centrally located and visible from a large area of the clinic including the staff room and vets office. This ensures that patients recovering from various procedures are closely monitored at all times. |
|
Dedicated x-ray room
Our x-ray room and high quality x-ray machine enables us to safely obtain top-quality x-rays. Our automatic processor ensures speedy processing which means shorter sedation or anaesthesia for your pet. Digitising our x-ray films enables us to email x-rays for specialist opinions if necessary. We are also able to take dental x-rays to help us with decision making related to dental disease.
Check out the interesting x-rays below..... |

This x-ray is of a dog's chest and shows an enlarged heart. |

Hydrobath Room
Our new hydrobath is the most effective and water-efficient way to bath your dog. We provide moisture-magnet towels and shampoo and a dryer is available. All water used in the hydrobath is recycled and used to water our plants and lawns.
Self-service hydrobathing is very cost effective. If you require assistance we can hydrobath your dog for you. |

Cat Boarding
"Peace of mind while you holiday"
Our cat boarding facility adheres to strict hygiene regulations and provides a comfortable and safe place for your cat to stay. Cats are let out to play during the day and any special needs can be catered for. Best of all, you will have piece of mind that your cat is staying in an accredited veterinary hospital so that any problems can be attended to without delay. |

Lab Area
Our laboratory is equipped to perform biochemical blood and urine examinations for routine and emergency testing. We also perform cytology (looking at cells) testing on lumps, urine and blood samples.
See below for some examples of we see through the microscope.......... |

This is a microscope image of a skin scraping from a dog. The little creatures you can see are called demodex mites and can cause nasty skin disease. |

This image of of a urine sample from a cat. It shows multiple small crystals (uroliths). These can generally be dissolved using prescription diets but occasionally surgery is required to remove large bladder stones. |
